The NNVCA Convention Committee has continued our decision that we are not out to make a big profit. This is our fifth convention and we still want to keep it as inexpensive as possible to allow the members of our fellowship a chance to see how much fun these conventions are without breaking their bank.

Volunteers. Willing to chair a marathon meeting? Or help out somewhere else? Check the boxes on the registration form and someone will contact you!

Transportation From Reno/Tahoe Airport - is approximately 100 miles roundtrip. If you will need a ride please contact Nick at (530)-542-2351 and a ride will be set up for your arrival and departure.

Special Events. Located inside the Horizon Casino, the Horizon Stadium Cinemas offer First-Run movies in All-Digital, Surround-Sound with Stadium Seating.
Carnival Cabaret returns for an encore engagement starring James "Gypsy" Haake. This high-energy production combines the best in impersonations, comedy and dance. Beginning September 3, 2008 an all-new cast brings their recreations of some of the biggest names in music and show business.

Local Attractions. The hotel will have information regarding the local attractions such as the gondola ride (A breathtaking ride to the top of Heavenly Valley Ski Resort, taking in the beautiful panorama presented by the Lake Tahoe Basin.) and the paddle wheel cruise boats, the Tahoe Queen and the Dixie II. (Cruise the natural beauty of Lake Tahoe as you take in dazzling vistas of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, the dramatic splendor of Emerald Bay and the unique Vikingsholm Castle.
